Bruckner Society Of Korea

Bruckner Society of Korea was founded in 2019 in South Korea. The primary object of the Bruckner Society of Korea is to encourage and advance studies and research into the works, life, historical context, and reception of Anton Bruckner, as well as to enjoy the performance of his music and that of related other composers.

​

Major goals include: to provide a forum and Seminar for communication among scholars and enthusiasts and to encourage new ideas and perspectives on Bruckner, to share festivals, and concerts.

besides, Bruckner Music Awards is held every year; Bruckner medal of honor to be given to individuals who helped promote the music of Bruckner. and also Bruckner Composition Competition, Organ Festivale of Korea.

The Chairman of Board of Directors is koosung JUNG(Director of the KBS Symphony general office), Honorary President Dongho LEE(Cief conductor of Jeju Philharmonic) 

The Bruckner Society is a non-profit private foundation.
